We spend some time beside the Upper Bedon Stream and then go down to the River where we see the Shelducklings

Wild Flower' Species seen beside the Upper Bedon Stream included:

Black Horehound
Bramble
Brooklime (first seen this year and now flowering: we must have overlooked it before) viz.


Common Mallow
Common Ragwort
Cow Parsley
Creeping Thistle viz.









Dove's-Foot Crane's-Bill
Dwarf Mallow viz.


Greater Plantain
Green Alkanet
Ivy Broomrape
Mouse-Ear Hawkweed
Orange Hawkweed viz.


Prickly Lettuce
Redshank
Reflexed Stonecrop viz.


Spear Thistle
and Yarrow

Then down to theThames where the Shelducklings (all twelve of them) are growing quickly viz.





And we finally managed a reasonable picture of the Yellow-Wort which grows close to the Thames Path viz.


And on the Footpath connecting Norman Road North with the Thames Path we saw a Brown Argus Butterfly viz.
