Stonecrops/Sedums growing in the London Borough of Bexley

We have decided to see how many different Stonecrops/Sedums we can find growing locally in Public Places viz. Cemeteries, Church Grounds &c.

So far, the most unusual one is the Spanish Stonecrop (Sedum Hispanicum) viz.

which merited a mention in 'Kent Botany 2017' and grows beside the Public Footpath running between Norman Road North and the Thames Path.

Elsewhere we are aware of:

*** Reflexed Stonecrop (Sedum reflexum), masses of White Stonecrop (Sedum album) and assumed Caucasian Stonecrop (Phedimus spurius) growing in the Bexleyheath Cemetery viz.

*** Biting Stonecrop (Sedum acre), White Stonecrop (Sedum album) viz.

(present in considerable profusion) and Reflexed Stonecrop (Sedum reflexum) viz.

growing in the Erith Cemetery. Also a sizeable population of Caucasian Stonecrop (Phedimus spurius): seen here with White Stonecrop (Sedum album) viz.

*** Reflexed Stonecrop
(Sedum reflexum) and possible Gold Sedum (Sedum Kamtschaticum) growing in the Hillview Cemetery...

*** Biting Stonecrop (Sedum acre) on the Holly Hill Open Space...

*** Biting Stonecrop (Sedum acre) and White Stonecrop (Sedum album) growing on the Lesnes Abbey' Ruins...

*** White Stonecrop (Sedum album) growing in the Cemetery of Our Lady of the Angels' Friary...

*** Biting Stonecrop (Sedum acre) and White Stonecrop (Sedum album) growing on the Thames' Foreshore in the Erith area...

*** Biting Stonecrop (Sedum acre), White Stonecrop (Sedum album) and Reflexed Stonecrop (Sedum reflexum): growing in the Grounds of St John the Baptist, Erith. Plus a sizeable population of what we assume to be, Caucasian Stonecrop (Phedimus spurius) viz.

we are hoping it will flower to enable us to identify it.

*** White Stonecrop (Sedum album): growing in the (old) Cemetery of St Mary the Virgin, Bexley. Plus Caucasian Stonecrop (Phedimus spurius) viz.

*** White Stonecrop (Sedum album) viz.

and Reflexed Stonecrop (Sedum reflexum): growing in the Grounds of St Paulinus, Crayford. Plus possible Caucasian Stonecrop (Phedimus spurius).

*** Reflexed Stonecrop (Sedum reflexum) growing beside the Upper Bedon Stream viz.

This is an ongoing Project. We are expecting to see the majority of Sedums/Stonecrops in Cemeteries, Church Grounds and similar, although not all viz. the Spanish Stonecrop.
