A Super Surprise

To the East Wickham Open Space (EWOS) in search of Butterflies &c. We had intended to go on the Bicycle but decided to walk. After a couple of hundred yards we almost turned back to collect the Bicycle but carried on walking.

And, Thank Goodness we didn't, for we would never have found a new population of Spotted Spurge (Grid Reference: TQ474770 or thereabouts and in a different Monad from the one where we first found it during 2017, namely TQ4877) viz.

So now we know why we were discouraged from taking the Bicycle!

Note: the Record has been submitted to the Kent Botanical Recording Group and accepted.
