An Essex Skipper beside The Ridgeway in the Plumstead area (the Royal Borough of Greenwich)
Seen on 30 May and totally unexpected. The Record was submitted to Butterfly Conservation and per their 'First Butterfly Sightings 2020', this is the first (confirmed) Essex Skipper Butterfly Record in the UK for 2020:
