Back to Woolwich (in the Royal Borough of Greenwich) to look for Birds &c.

Back to Woolwich (in the Royal Borough of Greenwich) for the first time since January-2019, to look for Birds in the Grounds of the former Royal Arsenal, on the Thames' Foreshore and beside the Thames Path in the Woolwich area.

Birds seen:

Black-Headed Gulls
Blue Tits viz.


Carrion Crows
Common Gulls
Cormorants
a Great Black-Backed Gull
Herring Gulls
a Jay
a Lesser Black-Backed Gull
Magpies
a Moorhen
Mute Swans (a family of six, namely Mama, Papa and for Children) viz.



Pied Wagtails
Teals
and a Wood Pigeon

We also noticed that the Borage growing on one of the disused Royal Arsenal Jetties/Wharfs is still hanging on.
