Birds seen on the Thames' Foreshore in the Erith area

We were rather hopeful of seeing a Rock Pipit (or even an Avocet) on the Thames' Foreshore off Corinthian Manorway (aka the 'Patch' or at least part of it): it was alas, not to be.

But we saw the following Bird' Species:

Black-Headed Gull
Black-Tailed Godwit
Grey Heron
Lesser Black-Backed Gull
Mallard
Redshank
and Teal

Bird' Species subsequently seen in the Erith Pier area:

Black-Headed Gull
Black-Tailed Godwit
Common Gull 
Cormorant
Mallard
Wood Pigeon (on the Pier itself)
and Yellow-Legged Gull 

viz. eleven Species in all…

Wild Flowers in flower included:

Bristly Oxtongue
Buddleia
Redshank
Sea Aster viz.

Shepherd's-Purse
and Sow-Thistle

And it is time to start paying more attention Lichens and Mosses again viz.

Shipping-Wise: General Cargo Vessel. 'Lisa', was moored at Conway's Berth and Tug, 'Felix', was chuntering upstream viz.

Butterflies beside the Upper Bedon Stream

There were four Comma Butterflies, a Red Admiral Butterfly * (see below) and a Speckled Wood Butterfly.

We walked beside the Upper Bedon Stream and then round the Holly Hill Open Space.

Daisy
Dandelion
Green Alkanet
Sow-Thistle viz.

After a brief trip to Stratford to look for Trains viz.

we decided to do a spot of Shopping; Wild Flower' Species seen close to the Sainsbury's Shop in Abbey Wood:

The Moon Tonight ~ 13 October 2019

A Full Moon: Sadly though, a little Cloudy. Nevertheless, we can see Mare Frigoris, Mare Imbrium, Mare Nubium, Mare Serenitatis, Mare Tranquillitatis, Mare Nectaris, Mare Fecunditatis, Mare crisium, Mare Humorum and Oceanus Procellarum: of sorts. But at least we can see the Moon.

We travel up to Norfolk to visit the Cley Marshes Nature Reserve

We went up to the Cley Reserve with the Bexley Branch of the RSPB. A journey of around three hours, each way. With no Stopping! The Group as a whole identified eighty-one Bird' Species: we managed twenty-nine Species!

Mare Serenitatis and the nearby Posidonius Crater, Mare Tranquillitatis, Mare Nectaris, Mare Fecunditatis and Mare Crisium are all visible, of sorts. And we think that the Archimedes Crater is also visible (upper leftish).
