We visit the Crayford Marshes

It didn't take too long to Bicycle there (around 35 minutes or so) and we stopped en-route to look at the Navelworts viz.


We have never looked for the Submerged Forest which we imagine, would probably have been visible today viz.


Next time we go we will be looking out for it.

We managed to see ten (10) Species of Butterfly viz.

Brimstone
Brown Argus viz.


Green Hairstreak viz.


Green-Veined White
Holly Blue
Orange-Tip
Peacock
Small Heath viz.


Small White viz.


and Speckled Wood

Plus this assumed Common Carder Bee visiting Red Clover viz.


and these two Crane Flies (with stripey-heads) viz.


Wild Flowers' flowering (we weren't really looking at/for them) included: Bird's-Foot Trefoil, Bush Vetch, Germander Speedwell, Hawk's-BeardHedgerow Crane's-Bill, Hoary CressOxeye Daisy and Red Clover.  Plus possible Lucerne although it might be Sand Medick viz.
