On a 'Whim', we find ourselves on Blackheath

Intending to travel up to the City of London, we boarded a Railway Train bound for (London) Cannon Street. But on a Whim, we disembarked at Blackheath and boy, were we pleased we did.

We decided to wander across the Heath over to The Royal Standard, Blackheath, and thence catch a Bus Home. Which we did.

We started out seeing some still flowering Ivy viz.

And we found quite a few Wild Flowers (certainly more than we expected), including:

Bristly Oxtongue
Buck's-Horn Plantain viz.

Cock's-Foot viz.

Common Chickweed viz.

Common Orache viz.

Common Ragwort
Common Toadflax
Creeping Thistle viz.

Dandelion viz.

Hedgerow Crane's-Bill viz.

Marsh Cudweed viz.

Mugwort (and Ribwort Plantain) viz.

Red Dead-Nettle
Perennial Wall-Rocket viz.

Trifid Bur-Marigold (spent Seed Heads) viz.

White Dead-Nettle
Wild Carrot viz.

White Clover
Wild Radish viz.

and Yarrow (and Fat Hen) viz.

plus a (pretty) Unidentified Plant: a member of the Carrot Family perhaps??? viz.
